ORDER CONFIRMATION:

You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as you place your order. This means that we have received your order in our system and have pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we immediately reach out to our suppliers to confirm that everything in your order is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on back-order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your items are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days) we will process the charges on your card and submit the order for shipment. 



SHIPMENT OF ORDER:


Most items ship out within FIVE to TEN business days from the date of your order. Also, please note that transit times vary and could take up to 15 business days. We will always send you tracking information  to the email address that you provide us during checkout.

We reserve the right to use any of the major shipping carriers at any time, and select the one with the most economical rate to keep costs low.

 We reserve the right to choose the shipment method, UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, depending on which is least expensive for us. We do not offer expedited shipping. 

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

We are thrilled to provide our customers with the best quality products from many different quality home decor lines. We ship items out as soon as they become available from our suppliers, which may mean that you receive multiple boxes at various times if you ordered several items. This helps to ensure that you receive your items as quickly as possible! 

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

 You can use any major credit card or PayPal to pay for your order. Please note that your account will be charged upon placement of your order once we confirm that all items in your order are in stock. 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:

  

Online Policy: Online orders may be cancelled free of charge only within 24 hours of placing an order online. However, if your order has already been prepared for shipping past the 24 hour window, you (the buyer) will be responsible for return shipping charges, as well as a 20% restocking fee (if the item isn't damaged and you simply changed your mind.) The original credit card that was used for the online purchase will be credited. You MUST return the item undamaged within 14 days after receiving it. The card used during online checkout will be credited for the refund, minus the 20% restocking fee.


If for some reason you should ever receive a damaged item from an online order, please read the "Damaged Item" section below for policies to follow.

In-Store Policy:

We allow 14 days from time of purchase to exchange or return your purchases for store credit. We do not give cash back or refund credit cards. The item(s) you may be returning should be free of damage or a store credit will not be given. 

SALE ITEMS:

All sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged (unless you received a damaged item from an online purchase, then please follow the Damaged Item policy below. Any items purchased with a store credit are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. 

DAMAGED ITEM:

 Upon receiving your order, please inspect the packaging of your item(s). We work very hard to make sure your items are shipped with care. However, should you ever receive a damaged item, please do the following:


1. Immediately contact us (within 48 hours of delivery).

2. Take pictures of the damaged items and send photos to support@riverchicdesigns.com. Someone from our support team will be in contact with you within 24 business hours.

3. Return the item. In this special case, we will provide fully paid return shipping labels.

4. Then you may choose to either order a replacement item of equal cost, accept a gift card for the same value as the damaged item to be used at a later time, or a accept a full refund that will be credited to your card (once our support team receives your damaged item.)


****It is VERY important to save original *Damaged* item, original packaging & packaging material when you contact us immediately.****

HOW LONG BEFORE I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Most in stock items ship out the next business day, however please allow us between 5 to 15 business days to receive your online order. When you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. Once your items are packaged and have shipped, you will receive a tracking number. Please note that transit times vary and could take anywhere from 5 to 15 business days.
